Nearly two decades ago, I found myself adrift in the depths of despair following the end of my 17-year marriage. Despite having dedicated 12 years to a successful career at Delta Airlines, it failed to provide any joy I desperately sought. I had become emotionally numb in my work, and the timing coincided with the dissolution of my marriage, compelling me to yearn for change. It was a pivotal moment; I stood at the crossroads of whether life would merely unfold around me, or if I would take the reins and shape my destiny. I was eager to embark on a journey of self-discovery, to fathom the depths of my own identity.
Overwhelmed by the tumultuous events and a version of myself that seemed unrecognizable, I decided to plunge headfirst into my existence, urged on by a handful of courageous friends who candidly told me I was in dire need of transformation. I was “messed up.” The road ahead was far from smooth, but amidst the trials and tribulations, a profound transformation occured...
